200 Kingston Road, Slacks Creek, QLD

The United Service Centre at Slacks Creek, developed by Churchill Group, sold under the hammer for $5.61 million to a Singaporean buyer. Anchored by a 12-year lease, it includes a 300 sqm store, eight fuel pumps, and Pie Face café. The sale was at a 5.2% yield.

Office & Industrial

69 Bristol Road, Kedron, QLD

A 742 sqm mixed-use site was bought by Melissa and Wade Woodcroft for $2.8 million. It will house their construction and design companies after an industrial-style renovation. The property includes warehouse, office and showroom space, plus parking for eight vehicles.

199 Robinson Road, Geebung, QLD

Europcar has signed a four-year lease for a 1,130 sqm showroom/warehouse, relocating from Eagle Farm. The $165,000 annual lease provides strong exposure and signage potential on a major arterial road. The site will support their car rental operations across Brisbane’s north.

Hotels & Leisure

Vibe Hotel & Pavilion, Surfers Paradise, QLD

Thailand’s KS Hotels has bought the Vibe Hotel and Surfers Pavilion site for over $60 million. The 4,700 sqm site includes 199 rooms, a marina, and 35 gaming machines. JLL brokered the deal, which signals continued international confidence in the Gold Coast’s hotel market.

Development

Montgomery Street, Redbank Motorway Estate, QLD

Timeless Property has acquired two industrial lots in Goodman’s Redbank Motorway Estate, totalling 3.35 ha. While the price wasn't disclosed, land in the area generally sells above $600/sqm. CBRE noted strong demand thanks to motorway access and nearby deals with Coles and L’Oréal.

General News

Wittner Enters Administration

Footwear retailer Wittner has gone into voluntary administration. Deloitte is overseeing the process as the 110-year-old brand explores recapitalisation or sale. The move highlights growing strain in fashion retail, with cost pressures and changing consumer habits taking a toll.

Sum up

Queensland’s commercial property sector remains broad and resilient. Industrial areas like Kedron and Redbank are drawing interest from developers and owner-occupiers, while hospitality assets continue to attract offshore capital. Even as fashion retail stumbles, buyers still favour convenience-led, long-leased assets, reinforcing market confidence in the state’s outlook.
