Facilities Coordinator

We have a vacancy for a Facilities Coordinator to join the Facilities Management team within the Asset Management Team. The role assists with the day-to-day operation, management and maintenance of owners’ properties, tenant relationships, on behalf of McGees’ clients while retuning a positive financial outcome for the business.

Requirements

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • A mature friendly approach to duties with a client focus and sense of urgency
  • A trade qualification and an understanding of building services is an advantage
  • An ability to read and understand technical documents and legislative documents
  • A sense of confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced role with strong time management and team work abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good financial literacy
  • Excellent IT skills

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Issue and follow through work requests, work orders, ensuring no delay in response time for repairs/works
  • Contact Contractors, chase updates on status of work orders, update Facilities Management software
  • Coordinate Fire Training, Locations, send emails to tenants etc
  • Comply with all aspects of Facilities Management platform delivery including correspondence and reporting
  • On Board Contractors, update contractor/tenant contact details
  • Ensure 100% WHS compliance for each property
  • Monitor, Handle Facilities Management Inbox
  • Interface between tenants, contractors, Facilities Management and Property Management Teams
  • Help out with general ADHOC tasks for Facilities Managers and Property Managers
  • Attend site inspections with Property Managers, assist with Property Inspection Management reports
  • Share on call roster
  • Maintain excellent working relationship with owners, tenants and property managers
