Swift Success: McGees Property Secures New Tenant for Prime Vernon Terrace Location: 36F Vernon Terrace

October 1, 2024

McGees Property Brisbane is proud to announce the successful lease of 36F Vernon Terrace, nestled in Teneriffe’s vibrant dining and entertainment precinct. After the previous tenant was locked out, the landlord turned to McGees Property to secure a quick and effective result. Acting swiftly, our leasing agent Liam had the premises cleaned in no time and brought the space to market.

The response was immediate. Within just two weeks, McGees Property received over 20 enquiries and conducted 15 inspections. Following a focused three-week campaign, four strong offers were put forward. Ultimately, the landlord’s asking rent was achieved, and the space was leased to an experienced operator ready to capitalize on this prime location.

The new tenant, Thomas’, is the latest venture from the team behind Paddington’s beloved Frank’s Social Club. Set to open soon, Thomas’ promises to bring a laid-back, community vibe to Teneriffe, offering cocktails, wines, and a delicious menu of small plates, cheese boards, and their signature sloppy Joe.

Located at the base of the historic London Woolstore, Thomas’ is set to become a key part of Vernon Terrace’s buzzing hospitality scene, joining established favourites like Rita’s Tequila and Taqueria, Zero Fox, and Streetcorner Jimmy. With sunlit outdoor seating and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, Thomas’ is poised to become a go-to spot for locals and visitors alike.

McGees Property is thrilled to have contributed to securing such a fitting operator for this sought-after location. Be sure to stop by Thomas’s once it opens and experience all this exciting new venue has to offer.
Heritage-listed wool stores surround Thomas’s bar, converted into luxury apartments and office spaces; this space is set within a precinct that boasts a blend of character, sophistication, and contemporary flair. With its fully equipped bar and restaurant setup, his bar is ready to cater to the area’s high demand for top-tier dining and social experiences.

Being in such a prime position ensures a steady flow of clientele, from professionals working in nearby offices to residents seeking a refined yet relaxed dining experience. The space’s existing infrastructure, complete with a modern kitchen, bar, and ample seating area, allows you to seamlessly open your doors to Brisbane’s thriving food and entertainment scene.
