Brisbane has seen a lot of movement in recent months with a number of large projects being applied for and confirmed.

ProBuild Appointed to Begin Work Queen’s Wharf integrated resort development excavation

Destination Brisbane Consortium has announced Probuildas the successful tender for the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane integrated resort development excavation works package. It will be the largest city-based excavation project to occur in Queensland.

Australia’s ‘Best Entertainment Precinct’, Brisbane Live is Now Guaranteed

Brisbane will soon join the ranks of London and Los Angeles with full support $2 billion arena-centred entertainment precinct. The Madison Square Garden-style 17,000 seat entertainment arena will be built on top of the Roma Street railway tracks. Along with the main arena, plans also include outdoor amphitheatres, cinemas, restaurants, bars, hotels, and residences.

Development Application Submitted for Brisbane Square Tower 2

Charter Hall has officially submitted a development application for Brisbane Square Tower 2 which is located at 266 George Street.

Mercedes-Benz to Create CBD Showroom

Mercedes-Benz Brisbanehave announced its new project in the CBD location of 300 Adelaide Street which will house retail and commercial space including a Mercedes-Benz Brisbane permanent pop up showroom plus café and restaurant which will serve breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and a dinner and bar offering on Thursday and Friday evenings.

New Commercial Tower Proposed for Brisbane Square

Superannuation firm QSuper has reportedly signed an agreement to secure a 17,200m2 slice of a new commercial tower which is proposed for the property next to Brisbane Square.

New Sky Garden Completed for 192 Central

The team at MODE have designed one of Brisbane’s first subtropical rooftops for 192 Central Development with a key focus on external spaces. It includes a glass bridge connecting 192 Central to the recently completed 180 Brisbane by Daisho.
