Retirement Development Proposal - 195 Lutwyche Rd, Windsor
A new retirement living development is proposed for 195 Lutwyche Road Windsor. The site, which is currently occupied by Mercedes Benz, will feature the construction of a 12-story high tower. The development will house 98 aged care rooms and 79 independent living units. It will have 19,159m2 floor area. It will also feature car parking and servicing areas, covered drop-off and entry lobby, private dining, kitchen and laundry, and offices.
The building will also house allied health services, retail tenancies, food/ beverage, a business centre, indoor lounge, and an outdoor landscape area. There will also be a roof terrace featuring enclosed outdoor community spaces, space providing opportunity for casual and formal bar or dining experiences.
Another eight storey retirement village has also been approved, to be located on the old Fancutt’s Tennis Centre site at 39 Laura St, Lutwyche. The village will contain a variety of community facilities including a wellness centre, wine cellar, restaurant, sports bar, private dining room, an exercise circuit, rooftop sky deck and landscaped gardens with views to Brisbane’s CBD.
