The mid suburbs of Brisbane, both north and south have many opportunities for commercial developments. With the precincts below wedged right in the best areas for public transport, yet still considered to be outer locations, these suburbs have a great balance between suburbia and city. Development wise, both north and south attract commercial and residential options for many reasons. As far as these suburbs go, they are highly sought after location for both residential and commercial opportunities.
Brisbane’s Mid South
The mid south includes Mt Gravatt, Rochedale, and Eight Mile Plains as well as surrounding suburbs. In the south, some 40+ developments are currently approved with some already under construction, and a large number of recently completed developments draws new residents to these suburbs. The mid-south suburbs (like Rochedale) once deemed too far from the city to be attractive to investors are now seeing residential properties upwards of $2.5 million. This draws a whole new level of investor to the area, and with new projects outlined, these suburbs are becoming highly-sought after.
Brisbane’s Mid North
The mid north encompasses Chermside, Nundah and Lutwyche, and their surrounding suburbs. A brief look at any of these suburbs will show that there has been a growing trend of commercial options in these areas, with no sign of slowing. In this area of the north, even bigger development numbers resonate in Chermside, Lutwyche, and Nundah. With many commercial, residential and mixed-use buildings approved and waiting for construction to begin, many investors are looking at other ways to get a foot into the door of these suburbs.
