Boulevard At Buranda

As the first significant step into the revamp of the suburb, The Boulevard at Buranda, which is set on a 3-hectare site will be Brisbane’s largest near-city mixed-use development project. Featuring the construction of high-rise student accommodation towers and a shopping centre.

The project comprises of eight high-rise buildings to be constructed across three stages. From the developers behind the highly successful Emporium development of the mixed-use project will be a transit orientated development project integrating the existing Buranda bus and rail stations.

The project will also include a massive 21,293m2 of office space, 4,500m2 of supermarket space, 11,942m2 of retail facilities, a childcare centre, 1,750 car parking spaces, a gym, a cinema theatre and other related facilities.

Stage One of the construction includes two 25-storey and 13-storey mixed-use towers for student accommodation, which consists of 1,610 rooms and 306 apartments, 970m2 of retail facilities, 14,211m2 office space, and a four-level basement featuring 400 car parking spaces.

Stage Two includes the construction of five more towers comprising 840 apartments, 8,738m2 of retail facilities, 7,762m2 office space, a 2,323m2 childcare and a 2,419m2 gym.

Stage Three finishes the construction with the final tower which includes 187 apartments with 2,234m2of retail.

The site will be linked to three major public transport corridors, and is just three kilometres from the CBD, meaning it is a prime location for student accommodation. There are many educational institutes within a short distance, as well as major hospitals, and all within arm’s reach of lifestyle precincts like Stone’s Corner, South Brisbane, South Bank and Woolloongabba.
