New Projects For Brisbane

As we move into the second half of 2020, a number of projects are still being planned for the Brisbane region, which will hopefully help to bring the economy back to life.

The following projects are either in application phase with plans lodged recently, or construction has recently commenced:

North Quay, CBD

In one of the biggest stories, an application has been lodged for a new 38 storey commercial tower in Brisbane city. The project, at 205 North Quay, will include ground floor plaza, restaurant and auditorium, rooftop terrace, gym, wellness studio – and office space.

Eagle Farm

A five-level commercial office has been proposed for Eagle Farm Racecourse with an application lodged recently. The building will have a gross floor area of 7,670m2 for office, and 228m2 restaurant.

West Village, West End

An application has been lodged for the third stage of West Village, known as The Eaves’. This project is located at 91 and 111 Boundary Street and includes the development of a three-storey retail and restaurant building.

Eagle Street, CBD

A proposed development for Eagle Street Pier and Waterfront Place has had plans lodged to Brisbane City Council by Dexus. The project includes two towers of 49 levels and 43 floors, and will include a total of 120,000m2 of office space.

Parkwest Estate, Bundamba

First stage has commenced on this development, with additional office warehouse units. Parkwest Business Estate is a master-planned industrial and business estate, providing commercial, showroom and industrial space.

Connexion Industrial Park, Darra

Connexion is a $35 million project that will see a major refurbishment of a 10,600m2 office and warehouse, along with the development of four new spec office / warehouses, totalling 3,000m2.
