The 570-hectare North Harbour development site in Burpengary East is set to transform the area.
North Harbour has been declared a Priority Development Area (PDA), which means it has been identified as providing significant benefits to the community and as such, are set for accelerated development.
The is a joint project between North Harbour Holdings and Trask Land Corporation and will include a 400-berth marina. It will also provide new waterfront homes, units, terrace homes and traditional detached homes along the front of Caboolture River. This includes 600 new apartments, 600 new residences, and 800 new homes.
The precinct will also include retail outlets, waterfront boardwalk and restaurants, with 319 hectares of recreational and regional open space included in the masterplanned neighbourhood.
North Harbour Marina was envisioned nearly two decades ago and has been one of the most meticulously planned and reviewed developments in South East Queensland, with environmental excellence at its core. It was selected the finest residential subdivision in Queensland in 2018 by the prestigious Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Queensland Awards for Excellence.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 2035. By then, North Harbour is set to be a world-class recreation and tourism destination, combined with open space, jobs, business, and maritime sectors, all set against a backdrop of modern community living and affordable, innovative housing.
