The recent development application includes a boutique hotel, numerous refurbished heritage buildings, as well as a new observation deck with views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane River. Containing 164 suites, the hotel will also feature an expansive brewery, two unique indoor event spaces, abundant green spaces and picnic areas, a brand-new boutique hotel, overwater bar, bakery, coffee roastery and riverside restaurants. Opening in late 2018, Howard Smith Wharves will soon be Brisbane’s newest lifestyle and entertainment destination.

A six-month business case is set in place to evaluate the 17,000 seat stadium over the top of Roma Street Station, most likely to be linked to the development of the Cross River Rail project. The proposal which has backing from all angles is set to include a 90-level residential high-rise, two 65 level hotel and residential structures connected on the top 15 levels, a 40 level hotel building, multiple low rise residential structures, three cultural buildings, combined parkland (including the current Roma St Parklands) and a connecting footbridge.

168-200 Turbot Street

168-200 Turbot Street with a frontage of Wickham Terrace, Turbot Street, and Albert Street is the largest development site in Brisbane CBD. The 8,919m2 redevelopment will embrace two high rise towers, one with 75 levels, the other with 78 levels. The towers will include residential, hotel and retail components, however, the onsite heritage building will remain.

Mixed Use Tower In Margaret Street

A new mixed-use tower in Margaret Street is at the conceptual design stage. The options include 15,000m2 of office, a 300 room 5-star hotel as well as 325 high-end apartments. The project would also include a four-level basement car park and activate ground floor lobbies.

Triplets on Mary Street

A development application has been received for the refurbishment of three CBD commercial towers located at 33 Charlotte Street, 111 George Street, and 54 Mary Street as well as the creation of a new 42 level commercial building at 62 Mary Street. The project would also include a new cross block link, connecting Mary and Charlotte Streets, as well as 1,085m2 of new retail space across multiple levels.
